La Far respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do to keep it safe when you visit the Point B site (the “Site”).

This English text is a translation, offered for convenience. If anything differs, the Romanian version is the one that applies.
What data we collect
When you write to us, sign up to our list or start a project with us, you may give us: your name, your email address, your company name and any other details you choose to include in your message.
While you browse the Site, some technical information is collected in the background:
- IP address and device type
- browser and operating system version
- how you got here (referring address)
- which pages you visited and for how long
- aggregate traffic data, which does not identify you personally
We do not collect sensitive data and we never ask you for financial information through the Site.
Why we use it
We use your information only to:
- answer your messages and requests
- understand how visitors interact with the Site
- improve the content, structure and speed of the pages
- keep the Site safe and running
- send you the letter and news about services, launches and events, only if you subscribed
The legal basis for each of these: your consent, when you subscribe to updates; our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the Site; and legal obligations, where the law requires us to keep certain records.
Who we share it with and how we protect it
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. Ever.
We share some data with the service providers that help us operate: hosting, analytics tools, the email platform (Brevo, which hosts the newsletter list) and the scheduling tool (Calendly). They access strictly what they need and are contractually bound to firm confidentiality rules.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. But no online system is one hundred percent safe — so we encourage care whenever you send sensitive information, anywhere on the internet.
Cookies
This Site does not place tracking cookies on your device. Concretely:
- Booking a conversation — the booking buttons open my Calendly calendar in a new tab. Their privacy policy applies there.
- The form on the page — the answers you write are passed on to Calendly, so they are already filled in when you pick a time. They are not stored on the Site.
- Newsletter sign-up — the form on the page sends your details straight to Brevo, the platform that hosts the newsletter list. Brevo loads no code on the Site, so it sets no cookies here. After you sign up you get a confirmation email, and from there their privacy policy applies.
- Language preference — when you choose Romanian or English, that choice stays with you, in your browser, and does not reach us.
Because we do not use tracking cookies, we do not ask for your consent through a banner. If that ever changes, you will be asked before, not after. You can delete locally stored data at any time from your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep your data only as long as we need it:
- until we have answered your message
- for the duration of an ongoing project
- as long as necessary for legal, financial or administrative obligations
When it is no longer relevant, we delete it safely or anonymise it.
If you subscribed to updates, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe — and the unsubscribe link is in every message we send.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you and to decide what happens to it. Concretely, you can ask at any time for:
- access — to find out what data we hold about you
- rectification — to correct what is wrong
- erasure — to have it removed from our records
- restriction — to limit what we do with it
- portability — to receive it in a pdf format
- objection — to object to processing based on our legitimate interest
- withdrawal of consent — at any time, with no explanation needed
For any of these, write to note@lafar.ro. We answer within 30 days at the latest.
If you feel we have not respected your rights, you can address the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) — www.dataprotection.ro. You can do that at any time. If you prefer, write to us first — it usually gets sorted more simply than it seems.
Links to other sites
The Site may contain links to sites, tools or resources that are not ours — partners we work with, platforms where our work appears, services we mention.
Once you have left us, we have no control. Those sites have their own privacy policies, their own cookies and their own data collection practices. We recommend reading them before you leave personal information there.
Updates to this policy
Privacy does not stand still. Neither does our business. As tools, services or regulations change, we update this policy too.
When we do, the new version appears on this page, with the updated date at the top. We will not fill your inbox with announcements, but you are welcome to have a look from time to time.
If you keep using the Site after an update, it means you agree with the most recent version. If something seems unclear, write to us.
